Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the EZTasks application. By downloading or using EZTasks you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the app.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use EZTasks on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service. The app itself, its design and its source code remain our property. You may not copy, decompile, resell or redistribute it.
2. Subscriptions and trial
EZTasks is free to use for the duration of the TestFlight beta; no payment is taken and no card is required. At the App Store release the app moves to a subscription, preceded by a 21-day free trial. Subscription pricing is then: 149 NOK per month or 1 299 NOK per year. All prices include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. Purchases are processed by Apple and billed to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policy.
3. Your content
Everything you create in EZTasks belongs to you. We claim no ownership of it and, as described in the privacy policy, we do not hold a copy. You are responsible for the content you record and for making sure it is lawful — including any personal data about customers or colleagues that you enter.
4. Backups
EZTasks syncs through iCloud, but iCloud sync is not a backup service. You remain responsible for maintaining device backups of business-critical records. We are not liable for data loss caused by device failure, deletion, iCloud account issues, or service interruptions outside our control.
5. Acceptable use
Don't use EZTasks to break the law, to store content you have no right to store, to harass others through shared features such as group chat, or to attempt to interfere with the app's operation or security. We may terminate access where these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached.
6. Beta and pre-release versions
TestFlight and other pre-release builds are provided for evaluation. They may contain defects and are supplied without warranty of any kind. Don't rely on a pre-release build as the sole record of business-critical data.
7. Warranty and liability
EZTasks is provided “as is”. We work hard to make it reliable, but we cannot warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of EZTasks is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including your statutory consumer rights.
8. Changes
We may update these terms as the app develops. Material changes will be announced through the app or on this page, and the date above will be revised. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
