EZTasks replaces the tangle of apps a small business runs on. Tasks, hours, calendar, inventory, notes, mileage and team chat — in a single native Apple app that works offline and keeps your data yours.
Free during the TestFlight beta · No card required
Most people in the trades don't want a productivity system. They want to finish the job, log the hours, and go home. EZTasks is built on four convictions about what that requires.
Every tool you add is another login, another subscription, another place a detail can go missing. EZTasks holds the whole day in one place, so a task, the hours against it, and the parts you used are never three separate systems.
Basements, plant rooms, tunnels, rural sites. EZTasks writes to the device first and syncs when there's signal — so the app never stalls behind a spinner and nothing is lost because the bars dropped.
Your work syncs through your own iCloud account with CloudKit. There is no EZTasks data warehouse, no advertising, no profiling. We don't want your job records — we just want the app to be worth paying for.
Every screen is built against VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, Reduce Motion and Increase Contrast from the start — not retrofitted. Colour never carries meaning alone. A crew is not all the same, and the app shouldn't assume it is.
Because everything lives in one model, the hours you log attach to the task, the parts come off the stock count, and the report writes itself from what already happened.
Jobs, subtasks, priorities and due dates. Assign work to the crew and see at a glance what is actually left today.
Start the clock on the job itself. Hours land on the right task, so the documentation is ready when the invoice gets written — no evening of guesswork.
Deadlines and appointments in one grid, with quick-add straight onto a day. No copying dates between two apps.
Know what's on the van before you drive to the site. Track parts, quantities and locations without a spreadsheet.
A guided count that keeps its place if you get interrupted, then reconciles against inventory in one step.
Site observations, measurements and customer agreements, linked to the job they belong to instead of a photo roll.
Trips recorded as you drive, with a Live Activity on the lock screen. A clean, complete log when the tax year ends.
Keep job talk with the job. The crew can ask a question against the actual task, not in a thread of holiday photos.
Log what went wrong while you're still standing in front of it — with photos, context and a record you can hand over.
The cost of running many apps is rarely the price. It's the fifteen minutes at the end of every day spent moving the same information between them — and the details that quietly fall through the gaps in between.
Nine logins. Nine invoices. The same job typed in four times.
Built with SwiftUI against Apple's own conventions — so it behaves the way every other app on your phone already does.
Real screens from the release-candidate build.
EZTasks isn't a side project. It has gone through a full engineering review, a stabilisation phase, automated testing and a TestFlight round before reaching release candidate. Boring, deliberate work — the kind you only notice when it hasn't been done.
Automated unit and UI test suites run against every change, including the flows you use daily.
Data stays in your private CloudKit database, protected by your Apple Account and the device's own encryption.
Native Swift, no web wrapper. It launches instantly and stays responsive with thousands of records.
VoiceOver labels, full Dynamic Type support up to the largest sizes, and contrast that holds at every setting.
No modules to unlock, no per-feature upsell. EZTasks is free for as long as it is in TestFlight — these prices take effect at the App Store release.
Free right now. Beta testers pay nothing during TestFlight, and we will tell you well before the paid version arrives — nothing starts charging by surprise.
Full access, cancel any time. Good if you want to keep it month to month.
Request beta accessWorks out at about 108 NOK a month — more than three months free every year.
Request beta accessYes. EZTasks is offline-first: everything you do is written to the device immediately and syncs to iCloud when a connection is available. You can work a full day in a basement and it will catch up on the drive home.
On your devices and in your own private iCloud database via Apple CloudKit. We don't run a server that holds your job data, and we don't sell or share anything. Details are in our privacy policy.
EZTasks is designed and optimised for iPhone, with an Apple Watch app, home-screen widgets and Live Activities for active trips and timers. It runs on iPad and Mac too, but those layouts are getting a proper interface pass before we put our name on them.
Yes. Tasks can be assigned and shared, and group chat keeps the conversation attached to the work. Each person uses their own Apple Account, so nobody is sharing a login.
Nothing. EZTasks is free for everyone on the TestFlight beta, and no card is required. When the app launches on the App Store it moves to the subscription above, with a 21-day free trial — and we will give beta testers plenty of warning first. Your data stays on your device throughout, so nothing is lost in the transition.
It means the app is feature-complete and has been through testing and a TestFlight round — we're doing final certification before the App Store release. Joining the beta now gets you the finished app early and gives us the field feedback that makes the 1.0 better.
Yes. Your records are yours, and you can export them. We think lock-in is a bad reason for anyone to keep using software.
Ask for a beta invite and run a real week through EZTasks. It costs nothing during the beta, and we read every piece of feedback.
Requires an iPhone and the TestFlight app. We send invites by hand, usually within a day.
